milk pimples
Hi,
our little girl has milk pimples on her face.
I know these are largely (soley?) related to what I eat, but I am trying to work out what it is that is irritating her.
If I see the pimples have come up on her face, how long ago would the "offending" food I had eaten have been?
- the meal immediately before?
- a couple of hours?
- the day before?
thanks.

As far as I am aware, ALL babies get milk pimples, regardless. Palmer got them really bad...it's not a nice look! As far as I know, they go away around 6 weeks-ish and aren't affected by what you eat.

Congrats on your new baby!
It's a totally normal hormonal thing that most babies get. You don't need to do anything about it - they'll just clear up with time.

Totally normal, I don't think it's anything to do with what you are/aren't eating (DD was on formula and had them). They'll go away on their own :)

Hi,
As the others have said it's nothing your eating and it's nothing your doing - it just happens to most babies. Generally there is no treatment and they just go away by themselves in time

thanks ladies!
it's good to know then it's not what I am eating - I was convinced it was as some days they seem worse than others, but anyhoo.... Good to know they will go away!
cheers! :grouphug:
