He's grown up so much this last week :D
Sleeping in his own bed & going to the toilet!!
I wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea of changing 2 lots of nappies, with a nb & a toddler, but since just over a week ago DS has been in undies every day!
The first weekend of the hols the kids went to my parents, then we drove the girls out to Tamworth to go stay with the IL's for a bit in Dubbo. He did the whole 9ish hours in the car with undies on, then a trip to Coffs the next day. He was just holding it in til I forced him to go then, but in the last 4 days, he's been yelling out WEE & going to the garden. 2 days ago I convinced him that it was ok to stand on his special step & use the toilet & now he prefers to do that over going out to the garden! I never thought he would, lol.
He still asks for a nappy to poo in, but for him to be doing what he is has me so relieved!
We also bought DS & DD2 a set of bunks that same weekend & he's decided that they are the most awesome beds in the world & out of about 8 nights has only come into our bed on 2 of them when he got cold. He used to be in there with in an hour of going to sleep & would keep coming in all night.
After all the fights about him not wanting to be a big boy, he loves it. I'm not allowed to use the main toilet in the house coz its the big boy toilet!!! lmao!
I just had to share, coz I'm just so proud. He's very much a mummies boy & I never thought he'd start to detatch himself. Now we just have to get past the arrival of this baby!
