Success!!
For weeks now I've been having to rock DD to sleep (day & night), she used to self settle and go to sleep herself, all I'd have to do was give her her dummy and giraffe and she would be right.
Tonight I put her down, and i didn't have to take her out of her cot at all! Did have to go in and stroke her cheek for a bit, but she wasn't standing or sitting up like she usually is. Woo hoo!! Hope she keeps it up. Now to see how long she stays asleep for...she's also started waking up again repeatedly before I even make it to bed myself :doh:

as well - we just got fred self settling as well and have had a couple of sleep throughs - maybe it is the age for it???

Ryatha- I sure hope so!! It's been probably about a month since she self-settled and the last night she slept through was at least a couple of months ago (only for one night..lol).

My DD has FINALLY in the past 2 months started going to bed by herself (she's nearly 3!!!). One VERY happy mummy here also :D
Now if only DS would follow in her footsteps... haha!

she didn't wake up until 2am!! Yay!! And then she came into bed with me and went straight back to sleep. Hopefully it wasn't a once off! Lol

Last night had to rock her to sleep, but tonight, SHE WENT TO SLEEP ALL BY HERSELF!!! :cheer:
