child care subsidy

since im a kiwi. do i have to wait 2 years before i get any help with childcare or am i eligable to it same as family tax benefit? i plan on transferring to your med school but child care in aussie seems about double the price as it is here in NZ.

As far as I know, you have to be a citizen to get CCB - not 100% sure though.

if you qualify for ftb you qualify for childcare benefit as they are paid under family assistance law now social security law
