Third time lucky??

Hi Guys

I'm back. I had an ectopic pregnancy in December last year, and a miscarriage in April of this year.

We've been trying again for a few months and I got a positive test this morning.

I'm only 3w2d .. Silly me testing so early, I just can't help myself when the tests are right there!! Now I have to wait 2 weeks for a scan because I couldn't be patient hehe

I'm really happy. I thought it would take ages this time, so I'm stoked. Scared of course. Having had previous losses it makes all the pregnancy fears 10x worse, but I'm thinking positive.

Congratulations!! I'm with you on testing early, why wait if you know their is a chance you might be pregnant.

DS was third time lucky for us so just popping in to rub all of our third time luck onto you. Am sure you are growing a healthy bub in there, try to think of lots of things to keep you occupied until your scan. Hoping you will be able to enjoy your pregnancy without too much stress, it's hard I was ok once I got to around the 12 week mark. Big hugs and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congratulations. I had an ectopic in feb and fell pregnant again in april, oh went for that early scan and was over the moon that it was in the right spot but so upset as cause the scan has to be early the results showed as "not able to confirm viability" Harsh and made the 12 week scan seem like an age away!! As you can see it was a sticky baby!! Yours will be too, i only tell you all this so you know you are not allone with your fears and if you need to talk and vent a lot over the next few weeks/months then you are in the right place. I also find the 'pregnancy after MC thread' wonderful as everyone understands the ups and downs!
