Potato bake

I need a potato bake recipe.
Ive got good baking potatos, 6ooml cream, chives, spring oions, red onions and bacon. And chees.
Anyonw got a recipe for me?

i use the julie goodwin from asterchef recipe.

i half it and that makes 4 serves...

1kg potato's thinly sliced
400ml cream
1 glove garlic
2 teaspoons tyme

but u could definitely use the chives and spring onions

then i put cheese on top, i cook it covered with foil for about 75mins on 200

Layer the potatoes with onions and bacon and chive
Mix a pottle of cream with salt and pepper, some nutmeg.
Pour over the potatoes and sprinkle with cheese.

190c - 200c Oven until potatoes cooked though. (will depend on the depth of the dish and the thickness of your potatoes.)

Add them on fresh when you serve it ;)

this is the BEST every recipe!
you par cook the potato slices, dice bacon and onion.
then layer, potato, bacon, onion, cheese finishing with a layer of potato.
mix together a bottle of cream and french onion soup mix then pour over the top.
finish with another layer of cheese and then cook in the oven until golden! sooo good!

MIL uses french onion soup too.
Mine is different every time. Sometimes I use a packet & add to it, sometimes I make my own.
Usually cream, sour cream, cheese, garlic, bacon & onion. I put cheese through it as well as on top. So good.

I too use french onion soup mix

I make a layer of the potato slices and bacon sprinkle with soup mix and i keep repeating till the dish is full then after the last layer i pour the cream over it all and then pop into the oven

I am just about to make a potato bake using cream of mushroom soup. I usually fry off bacon, onion and mushrooms. Then slice potatoes and par boil. Then mix together cream, All Purpose Seasoning. Layer the potatoes, bacon mix, and cream. Top off with a mix of tasty cheese and Parmesan and bake.
