Hard to say hun.I started to lose mine the night before my i had bubs, i was having really bad cramping pains ,like really bad AF.. When i went to toilet and wiped i had brownish blood, then nothing at all untill i was 6cm dialated in hossy when i went to toilet and lost my whole plug
-
this is why im having issues coz with DS it came away a few hours after my waters broke but this time ive been having tons of BH's and they have been on and off for the past few days im so confused
-
Well it could be it, what does it look like? does it look different than normal ..I was the same kept having Bh a while before labour but they really ramped up the day off
-
I had massive amounts come away about 12 hours before I went into labour with DD. Fingers crossed this is a sign that bubs is on the way out very soon.
-
I lost bits of mine in the week or so before DS was born. I assumed it was my plug as like you it was a change. And it came in bigger bits they closer I got to labour.
So sounds like this could be action stations soon (like within a week or 2!).

Sounds like it could be...
With DS I started losing the plug a few days before going into labour. It looked like snot! This continued until I suddenly felt very wet, went to the loo and found bright red blood! Freaked out but my midwife said at the time it was the rest of my plug and to expect things to pick up. Sure enough I went into labour about 7 hours later.
Good luck!

It is hard to say because as you get towards the end of pregnancy it is very common to have a discharge or increased discharge. The pressure of the baby's head is said to increase mucous from your cervix. It could also be the plug coming away so if you have any worries or doubts just contact a midwife. If you get bright red blood you definately need to see a doctor or midwife or contact one right away...
If it has a different colour than normal or has a different smell to it, then it could also be a sign of infection which could cause you to experience cramping or abdomen pain. So if you are unsure it's always best to get it checked, there are swobs you can get at the hospital that turn blue immediately if there is leaking amnoitic fluid or/and infection.
Good luck to everyone, I hope this was helpful : )
