I personally see it at about 18 months. I am not sure why.......maybe because by this age they are tottling around and don't look much like babies anymore IYKWIM. I guess everyone has a different idea but when someone says "their toddler" i automatically think around that age.
I thought Toddlers were around 2 yrs of age??? But I dont think there is a rule is there???
Actually good question Angel!!!!
I assume it's more when they start 'toddling' i.e. walking! That's always been my interpretation of it! At least that way your 'toddler' only becomes a toddler when it's age-appropriate for them and their own milestones IYKWIM?
Oh me too Mel, I would refer to Zander as a toddler cos he walks.
Yeah, once they can "toddle" along, they are toddlers LOL.
I dunno, I used to define it at as around 18 months, if you were to put an age on it. My boys both walked at 10 months but to me they were still "babies".
I use to say around 2 years but Mackenzie in my eyes has been a toddler since she was about 18 months. This is when we started saying 'she isn't a baby anymore'. :)
Just hijacking the thread for a minute,
