yah 6 weeks exclusive breastfeeding!

This is just my little woo hoo - we've reached 6 weeks exclusive BF'ing, who'da thunk it! Chubba bubba girl weighed in at 5kg today (birth weight 3.8kg) so she's going GREAT!

We're still using nipple shields at present and not trying to ditch them while we try to get her reflux sorted. Oh and she's got eczema darn it... but hey... she's had nothing but mummy's milk!

Yay for my boobies and yay for a beautiful bubba girl who feeds so well :dance:

Next goal: BF for longer than we managed with DS
Other Next goal: get rid of the nipple shields

Oh and did I mention how much I love looking down and seeing her BF'ing so happily? And I love sitting there in the quiet dark night cuddling my girl and feeding her :loveshower:.

Yay hun!!! Congrats! It truely is a great gift for the both of you :)

Ezcema can be a sign of possible food allergies down the track, so she's a very lucky little girl to have been given such wonderful protection by her awesome mumma.
