Inital checks before starting IVF

Hi all,

My partner and I are currently looking at going through IVF with the QLD Fertility Group.

I was just curious as to what inital checks you have to go through, EG are their Police Checks, Employement checks, Family Checks?

I've noticed that Monash IVF Clinic states the intial checks but QFG doesn't. Any help would be great. Thank you

There are more checks for Victoria than the other states. Victoria requires people undergoing assisted conception to have a police check, but this is not a requirement in other states. I believe it should just be a matter of basic health screening and that's it. They don't look into your family or your employment.

I just wanted to know due to the fact that my partner is Military, and if there were checks such as the police to be done, I wanted to get the forms in and out of the way when he is next at home :D
