Threading and using a very old pfaff overlocker?

I have just inherited my grandmother's old overlocker. Unfortunately in the clean up of her house the instruction booklet couldn't be found. I remember using it with her as a kid, but she always did the threading and set up etc.
Anyway, I though one of you crafty ladies on here might be able to give me some advice. It is a hobbylock 796. I have found instructions on the pfaff website for a hobbylock 2.0, are they likely to be pretty much the same? Just want to know whether I will be wasting my time as it isn't easy to get time to fiddle with things with my 2 boys running around. :)

If it hasn't been used for a while it might be worth getting it serviced and asking if they can show you how to thread it.

Definately take it for a service. Most places will thread it before they give it back because they will do a test sew to make sure it works

Thanks ladies. I will take it in this week. I gave threading it a go but I couldn't get my fingers round all the little corners... maybe you need to unscrew bits? I will see what the experts say anyway. :)
