Canon 550D, 60D or 7D, what do you think?

DH and I want to get a new camera before bub comes and I was wondering if anyone has one of these cameras? What they like, don't like? Why you got the camera you did?

On my phone in a rush, but we have the 550d twin lens kit and we bought a 50mm as well which is must I think! Love love everything about especially HD video which some of the dearer ones don't have. Good luck and happy snapping! I take about 100-200 photos every time I pick it up! :o

We have a 450D, the older model. We got it three years ago and it has been great. It still looks as good as the day we got it and we have taken around 30 thousand photos with it.

It is really user friendly. My suggestion would be that whichever option you go for, get the image stabilising kit - comparing with a friend with the same camera, the better lens does make a difference.

I'd go the 550D - there isn't much difference between the 7D and the 550D.

I'm getting the 550D in a month or so.

I've got the 550D as well....it's great.

I also got the 50mm lens...which is definitely a must with kids and portraits. It makes them look awesome!
