DD somehow found some of my lipstick this morning and painted the carpet with it :doh:. We have a very large patch of lipstick on the carpet. How do I clean it? I want to do something straight away before it dries out.
I SO don't need this today, we're all sick and I have to pack because I'm going away for 5 days tomorrow. Arrrgh!!!!!!
So if anyone has a magic solution or can recommend a good product to get it out, I will be eternally greatful!

I have the spotles book and it doesn say anyhting for carpet but it says for a lounge suite to use glycerin and a cotton ball?
I use eucalyptus oil for everything hun, it got black oil pastels out of ours when we first moved in.

Tan - I just rang my mum and she recommended eucalyptus oil too. I'm giving it a go now!
Sorry no idea on the stain, but just wondering if your holiday is to recover from your holiday you just had! :lol:

Haha Junglemum! Nope, DH is best man at his best mate's wedding and it's being held in Airlie Beach. I don't think it will be much of a holiday, we're bringing DD and we're both sick!
EEK! The eucalyptus oil helps bring some of the stain out, but it's now turned a bright pink colour and is no longer coming out! The area I just used baby wipes on looks much better. I should have just stuck with that! Holy cow, I don't know what I'm going to do now...
Dad has a professional strength spot stain remover for carpet, I'll go and see what it's called....
