DD managed to get mango on some new WHITE clothes the other day, i wasnt too worried but i didnt realise it stained so badly! ive tried all my normal tricks and i cant shift the stains....and they are very noticable!!! ive rubbed, soaked, used Napi san, didnt check them before i put them in the machine as i was in rush so i practically boiled them on a hot white wash and they are still there!!!
Any tips!
Leave it out in the sun for a day and it should shift.
If you want to try one more type of stain removal first give this a go:
1/4 cup liquid dish detergent
1/4 cup glycerin
1 1/2 cups water
Mix in a spray bottle and spray on and leave for 5 minutes before washing as normal.
What I would do personally is soak in cold water for about 30 mins, then spray then leave then launder. The reason is that all the washing and drying has probably set the stain glycerine is great for set stains.
If that doesn't work then try some oil spray and then rub in dishwashing liquid. WD40 works really well but can smell so you may need to rewash after it's clean.
I agree with Rougue. DD had terrible stains (I think it was watermelon) on a t-shirt and after a few days out in the sun it was gone!
Can I just say I love a stain removal challenge and I'm secretly jealous lol.
