Well,

I'm living the dream of studying my diploma in Photography! i love it. there are a load of technicalities but when you see the end result its awesome.

I've got a 500D, hoping to upgrade to a 7D soon.

I'm a registered business and have just moved so trying to fnd a local client base. Still trying to get the confidence to post flyers...

Just wanted to wish you luck and let you know how jealous I am right now! How I'd love to do that course!

It couldn't hurt to put flyers up on local pin boards and such. Chances are if people like your services then it'll be advertised by word of mouth. You'll be surprised how many people ask people if they know someone!

How about Facebook? I'm a fan of a few photographers and love looking at their work when they post some pics.

That's awesome the course you're doing. I have a 500D and love love love it. I'm hoping at one stage to get a fish eye lens... One day :)

I do have a facebook page, but its branching out from the online promotions where i can link them directly to my site, to flyers out in public.

There are no where near as many networking tools here as there was where I lived previously, so getting my name out there is that bit harder
