Woohoo - I can't believe how good this is..........

I recently bought a 2nd hand double electric pump - Ameda Purely Yours from a lovely bellybelly member :)

It is AWESOME!!!!

I express 4 times a day and since my electric tommee tippee broke about 3 months ago, I have been using an Avent manual pump for all of my expresses. I knew I was doing it the hard way but I didn't know how hard - the new double electric is SOOOOO fantastic. Not only am I getting more milk, but it is faster. I've been so worried that my supply was dropping and thought that it was all the expressing taking a toll. But I'm back with a vengance.

Hahahah - thanks everyone for your support and cowjokes - LOL I totally feel like a milking cow but am excited about it. Now I will have an opportunity to build up some of my freezer bottles again, which will give me a good excuse to eat the icecream in there to make space

I had epic results with an electric compared to a manual. About double to be exact. My older sister took my advice and upgraded to electric too and noticed the same. During my 2 week stint with prem DD in hossie I would ask the midwives where the pump is and proudly say "going to go play dairy farmer now!" They thought i was nuts!
