:( Sorry to hear you are unwell. I actually try to let it run it's course b/c I believe it is my body's way of trying to rid of a bug or something I have eaten that hasn't agreed with me. I only take imodium or something similar if it is continuing on after day 2. Try to stay hydrated and eat dry toast or crackers. Hydration is the most important thing.

I also tend to let it run its course ... I drink lots of water to replenish, but tend not to go to the Dr unless it's been over 48hrs.
hope you're feeling better soon

As my Dr says to me "better out than in", I used to just keep hydrated (usually with a hydrating powder in water), no food for the first day or so. I'd only use immodium if I had to go somewhere.
Take a good book, laptop, pillow (for behind your back) and a large bottle of water into the toilet with you and just "ride it out".
Hope you're feeling better soon.

Hydralyte (or Gatorade if you really can't do hydralyte)
White carbs, plain. So pasta cooked in broth, white bread, maybe with a little vegemite, rice crackers.
Rest.
Water.

You poor thing, it's such a shocker. I agree with everyone else, just ride it out. Make sure you keep your fluids up, flat lemonade is always a winner for me. (I can't stand gastrolyte etc). Rest up and stay close to the loo
