Spawn of the Devil Child!!!!

WTH is going on is what I want to know!!! Ava's always had a tendancy to have a tantrum like most 2 year olds, fair enough. But past couple of days omg its like a screaming banshee has posessed my child!!! The screaming! omg the screaming. It actually rattles my head thinking about it!! Not to mention the "I don't want to! I don't want IT .. Go away etc etc etc. She's not doing this at Kindy mind you. She's just being really really bloody mean not only to me but DP as well. And if she isn't getting her own way well prepare for the screeching that sounds like someone is murdering her. And not doing what she's told has just gotten out of control!!!! Im not sure whether its because she knows something is going on? I mean we've been painting and setting up the babies room, the baby seat has been put in the car etc. I thought maybe it was that, but she seems excited about the baby :dunno: Last night when she was having one of her spaz's at dp she said "i'll kill you daddy" (thanks to the boy at kindy that runs around shouting this one :shakehead: ) I just don't know what to do? Do you think it's an age thing or because the baby is coming next week?? Did anyone else have this problem with their children when babies were coming along?

Kids can get soooo feral sometimes. Maybe you can draw some pictures with her and so a story about "when the new baby arrives" and how much the baby will lover her yadda yadda xoxo

Kids test our buttons don't they? And big Grr to the little boy who taught her the "I'll kill you" phase (hehe, I'm sorry, but you have to laugh, or you'll cry! haha). I promise you it will pass :hug: Maybe you could get some picture books and sit down and read with her about the new baby?? "There's a house inside my Mummy" is an AWESOME picture book, I cried first time I read it (hormones), and DD STILL loves to read it!
