Buying new and used baby clothes on Ebay

Hi everyone,

Need help and figured this would be the best section to ask in as I am sure most of us have looked at buying babies clothes recently. :D

I bought huge bundles of new and lightly used clothing from America so cheap and now have gone through what I want and what I want to sell. Now here is the thing, it is Christmas! I am worried that putting it on Ebay now or right after Christmas is a worry as most people will be watching there coin but I do not want heaps of clothes that I would never use cluttering up my nursery. *Plus I will have a either a HUGE amount of girls of boys clothing to sell when little bun arrives.

So, to make a long story short... When is a good time to sell? I am due in March and I really wanted all the stuff gone by end of January.

Also any tips you would love to give me if you have bought baby clothes from ebay? (Photos, bundles, how it is packaged and explained. shipping ect..) I have never sold before but I am a buying professional! :lol:

Any help, tips or suggestions is welcome and appreciated to make this process go as smoothly as possible.

*FYI: I normally gave away my clothes and my dd clothes in the past but I seem to be the only that gives so this time I figure that if I sell it all, I will make up my money and can put it towards clothes for bubs.

I used to be a regular eBay seller and I don't really recommend trying to sell your clothes at the moment. Most people are preoccupied with buying Christmas presents and don't have much $$ to spare this time of year anyway. I also wouldn't try selling them just after Christmas as a lot of people are away on holidays. I used to pretty much write off most of December and January when selling. If you could hold off until Feb you'd probably do a lot better.

I reckon bulk lots are the way to go, it's much more worth everyone's while. It's hardly worth going into a lot of detail (taking photos, writing a description and calculating postage) for single items that will only make you a few dollars (if that).

I have a heap of clothes to sell, but have no idea where to start on prices so any advice on pricing would be great! (sorry to hijack thread)

As someone who is currently buying clothes from ebay, im now waiting until halfway through january before i start looking again, only because i know sellers will be on holidays and i dont want packages arriving while im on holiday either and being stacked at my front door.
