Light feeder in the mornings

This isn't a problem I just wondered if anyone else experiences this.
DD feeds well overnight, every 3-4 hours but in the mornings when she wakes between 6-7am and until around lunchtime she only has light snacks, sometimes almost nothing at a sitting. She is such a chatterbox in the mornings and has so much to tell me about the night before that she really doesn't have time to feed LOL. She goes on/off/on/off all the while chat chat chatting. I find myself just offering the boob at any chance but she really will only take it just before I put her down for her naps and then only for a minute or so.

She is growing fine, has plenty of wet and dirty nappies and is happy so I'm not worried. She seems to have upped her intake later in the day the last week after a month of lighter feeding and is demanding it more often which took me by surprise but I have tuned into her increased demand quite happily.

LOL yep the afternoons are a busy time here too :) Does she chat lots in the morning too? DD is almost in a frenzy catching me up LOL.

LOL, yeah, she's always on good form in the mornings. Not today though :( But yeah, generally a wee chatter box!

I'm so glad that you posted this - I could have written this! Exactly the same in my house - "feeds well overnight, every 3-4 hours but in the mornings when she wakes between 6-7am and until around lunchtime she only has light snacks". Then feeds like a trooper with three big feeds in the afternoon at about 2pm, 4pm and 6pm.

It's amazing how their feeding patterns change over the months. In the third month Tilly would go to bed at 7pmish, then not wake up for her first night feed until 3amish. But in this fourth month she has added a 10pmish feed. I'm sure it'll all change again in the fifth month :)
