Weight gain in 15 month old
Hi
Does anyone know what sort of weight gain we should be looking at when bubs are 15 months old.
I am trying not to be worried as bub is fit and healthy and generally sleeping through (taking teeth or cold out of the equation). But his weight gain has been practically non existent since he was 12 months old. And if anything over the last few weeks he appears to have gone backwards! He has always been on the light side (10% line ) so he doesn't have any fat to burn so to speak!
At his 12 month check he weighed 9.2Kg and when I took him yesterday to be weighed yesterday he was only 9.4kg. He will step on the scales for me at home and had gone up to 9.8Kg and even 10Kg on 2 occasions (though was after he had eaten) but now is only 9.4kg on them too.
He is super active and basically spends the entire day walking, running and climbing so I know he is burning a lot of calories. Any ideas on more fatty foods I can give him. He eats quite a bit of cheese and I am going to try to give him more avocado but he doesn't appear that keen on it. I try to give him nutritous foods each meal and at snack time but maybe I need to increase the fat content so he can get a bit of meat on his bones!!!
Any ideas thoughts gratfully received. I don't want to go back to worrying about weight gains again - too stressful.
Thanks in advance!
