So we are toilet training!
DD has had nasty naaasty nappy rash recently, so whenever I can I'm giving her lots of nappy off time. As a result, I am constantly asking her "Do you need to do wees?"
Monday, for the first time, she went and stood over the potty (I think she's watched Daddy in the loo too much!!!) and did wees! Then Tuesday morning she went in the toilet (I think her bottom hurt too much to sit on the hard potty, poor pet)... I'd been thinking "Ok, maybe its just coincidence at this stage", that and me thinking its been 3hrs without a wee, she must need to go...
But today, what a good girl! Took her nappy off when she woke at 7.30am, 11am she'd not done a wee, no accidents, I kept asking... then she was sitting on her couch watching TV, she stood up and ran to me and said "Wee's coming mummy!" ( wee's coming...) so we went to the toilet and she did a big wee!
I noticed a little dribble on her couch when we returned, but that's pretty good huh - she felt it, stopped it long enough to tell me, run to the loo and let it out there!
Then an hour later I was flushing some liners from her nappies and she was in the toilet with me and said "Wee mummy" so I sat her up and she did another wee!
Wooooooo! I'm so proud of my big girl!!!
So what about poo - will it take her a bit longer to want to do poo on the loo? I'm fully expecting a poo in her nappy when she wakes from her sleep (should be soon...). Does poo take longer?
