I am planning on getting them done this week, but am a tad nervous ...

I would try to get a spot near the door if possible. I think you'd get more fumes sitting in traffic for 20 minutes IMHO. As long as you don't inhale intentionally but i think you have more sense then that.

I am in the same boat. Poor cat had his brekky at midday today :lol: Growing a person is hard work!
I had my nails done until I reached 3rd trimester. (The only reason I stopped then was I didn't want to have to worry about maintaining them with a newborn). One of the girls was pregnant at the same time so I used to get her to do my nails because she was closest to the door and had a fan next to her to disperse the fumes. The fumes weren't too good for morning sickness though.
