Someone needs to tell me what to do....

Hi Ladies!

Couldn't restrain myself and took a test.... it took about 2 mins but a really really faint line appeared... I have to tilt the test to see it...

I only have 1 test left, and if I ordered some more, I would get them by friday morning..

So... my questions are:

Do I order more, or just use the last test and see how it goes?

If I do order more, which brand do you recommend (i am currently using crystal clear)

The rfds clinic is flying in the area on Wednesday, so do I call them down of a BT or wait for the following month?

It's driving me insane!! I should have waited till my fmu, but I couldn't!

Well my HPT was a very very faint line!!! It was so faint I almost couldn't see it!! I tested again with a first response brand and straight away I got a very clear BFP!!! I'd go get another brand asap and try again!!

I would say it's a BFP because you won't get a line unless there is HCG detected!!!!! So I'm gonna say congratulations! :)

I used several brands before I got my BFP and then I went back to a previous brand to double confirm. I KNEW I was utd yet the tests lied lol. I got a faint one about a month ago but it was after the 10 mins so I disregarded it. The Crystal clear dip stick thingos are pretty good as are the stick you hold ones in the plastic cases iykwim I trust them and they showed my BFP n the end. I say use the last stick but make sure you don't drink a heap of water to dilute your urine too much hun!

I would also get a blood test when the RFDS flies in too hun, good to double confirm the HCG. That way also you can plan for the next check in advance iykwim (i'm semi rural too and it's a B***H to get into the drs)

I have always used Crystal Clear (Or Crystal Blue? Can't remember lol), always worked well for me!

Thanks for all your replies, I went to bed on a high last night, couldn't sleep and wondered if I should wake DH up, but I resisted I convinced myself that it was just an evap line and finallllly went to sleep.

Checked first thing this morning, same test, and the line actually was there! but now I'm almost certain that it's the evap line! lol oh the agony!

Anyway, I'm going to book the plane and save my last test for tomorrow morning FMU, I wonder if I can call the chemist and ask them to put a little package on the plane for me?? hmmm something to look into :)

I say try First Response with the FMU. Good Luck :D

I'd say you're pregnant if you can see a line :leap: Worked for me:

This was my first test, about ten minutes after taking it.
The same test a few hours later.
This is a different test a few days after that.
Aaaaand... My belly as it was yesterday :D

I'd suggest getting a better brand of test if you're still not sure :hug:

I *almost* used FMU this morning, it was 2nd, but I have not had a drink yet...

I think, there is a line on the new test, so tentative yay! lolz

I have booked the plane for tomorrow, but it wont come till maybe lunch time, does anyone know if I can collect my FMU and keep it till the plane gets here with the new tests? (I ordered 3 first response and 2 digital ones, excessive I know!)

They should allow you to keep your FMU, I think... Just as long as it's somewhere tightly secured rather than an teacup or something without a lid :lol: I even bought a proper specimen cup that I planned to use for the samples I was expecting them to ask me to bring in. (Bloody hell that sentence ran long!) Haven't had to use it though. Apparently this hospital doesn't require me to bring in my own cup like the last hospital did :p

Just keep in mind you are still a few days out from you AF date, so it still may not be a very strong line ;)

Teni - she only has to keep it at home, the plane will come to drop off the tests, it doesn't have to get sent anywhere.
You can pee in a cup or any thing really, so long as it is thoroughly clean and dry. Maybe something you can easily wash and sterilise after you use it... and just keep it somewhere it won't freak DH out! pmsl

Hope the RFDS comes sooner rather than later tomorros!!!!

do you reckon I should put it in the fridge? I'm not worried about it going off, but more the hcg levels dropping or something? I really don't want the plane to get here and I get a N- test result! I'm pretty sure they would be a bit upset!

well... I'm a bit disheartened... I found a website with sooooo many pregnancy test photo's this person really did have POAS addiction! pretty much every brand and DPO she has done a test and put them all up showing the different lines etc... the test that looks exactly like mine was apparently an evap line :(

Oh well, guess tomorrow will be the decider, I'll have the BT done regardless of what the test says..

ON a side note, apparently the blue dye tests are notorious for having dark evap lines... anyone heard of this?

OW: don't stress yourself out yet!! I got the faintest line that I couldn't even take a photo of it!!! Abd it was a BFP for us...
So just wait until tomorrow and retest.
And stay away from google!! Lol.
