teething necklaces

Our amber teething necklace arrived a few days ago.
I had one for DS, but he was older, so I have a few questions.

How old was your bub when they started wearing one?
Did/do they sleep with it on?
If they do, for all sleeps, or just the day ones?

Its a screw clasp one, & I'm thinking at this age it really should be a magnetic one. But its obviously not long enough to get caught up with anything (then you can't be too careful...)
Would they still be worth using if you take them off overnight?
I'm just not sure about the way it gets lost in her little double chin :lol:

I didnt get DD's until she was about 10 months. Wish I had gotten it sooner though. I still put it around her ankle at night, day sleeps it is left around her neck.
Are you able to wrap it around her ankle twice? Or she might still be a bit little..

I put mine on from about 4ish months? When they showed signs of teething I suppose. Once its on, its on. And I leave it around their neck.

ree had hers on 24/7, except when i took it off for cleaning and cleansing purposes. so maybe 2-3 hours. every month.

Well, there's endless amounts of drool here, but I'm not sure if its teething related or not...
Might wait it out for a bit longer. Least its there :)

DD got hers at 4 months and has had it on since, it's been a godsend. I just leave it on her neck all the time.

My niece also has one, and my sister when she was really little wrapped it around her ankle at night and tucked it into her socks.

Ours is on 24/7, and has been from around 5 months. The only safety issue I've had is when she's around other children, have to make sure they don't grab it. Otherwise she has no idea it's there. Ours is screw clasp too.

Archie has been wearing his since 3 months and I've never taken it off.

I put Cruz's on when he was 2 months old, I thought he was teething, everyone told me I was crazy, first time Mum, I wasn't sure but thought 'just in case' and put it on. He then cut his bottom 2 and top 2 teeth before 4 months old.

We only put his on him through the day, it comes off at night and we put it back on the next morning (when we remember :redface: ) I swear that thing is a miracle, I can TOTALLY notice when he hasn't had it on for a couple of days.. And now at 13 months old today he has 14 teeth and is about to cut 15 & 16, when that necklace is on teething barely bothers him, but when it's off, whoa mama!

Will keep putting it on her through the days. Good to know it takes a few days to stop working.

DD got her one at 9 months and I just leave it on her neck all the time. I will be buying one for this bub alot sooner.

I only DD's off when it starts looking scummy. I've never had issues with other kids because it's always been on her so I think they think it's just part of her iykwim. DD knows it's there and will fidget with it but won't chew it.
