Small Gestational Sac at 6 Weeks

Hi everyone

Not sure where to post this, but I'm not sure what's happening. At 4 weeks (after ICSI) I had a positive blood test 220 something I think, but then 2 days later my levels hadn't doubled only 380 something :(. Yesterday at my 6 week scan (to check it wasn't ectopic again) FS could barely see anything, the sac was only 8mm and we couldn't clearly see anything inside. I'm having a repeat u/s next week, but am so nervous I really don't want to go. He said I could miscarry in the meantime or it could be fine he just couldn't guess at all.

Has anyone else had a small gestational sac at 6 weeks? I have had other u/s at 6 weeks and they were about 6cm in length so this really worries me. Also, I don't feel terribly pregnant and would normally be vomiting by now :(

Please don't think I'm being horrible or greedy for wanting more chn when I already have 2 beautiful daughters I'm so thankful for them and my heart really does break for those who are ttc #1 its horrible! But after 10 fertility cycles and 3 miscarriages, I think I've had enough, and I'm ready to hop off of this horrible ride and accept the family I do have. But now I can't and am stuck in limbo again.

I had a scan at 7 wks, not sure of sac size, but bub was only .7cm, and could barely be seen at all, just a smudge, and at 7 wks I expected more...

I am now 16wks, with a so-far healthy pregnancy, so dont stress too much, and all could still be fine babe.

Can you ask for more bloods to check on your levels? It can take 72 hrs for levels to double, so they still could b eok. If you need reasurance, demand another another blood test sweets.xoxoxo

I've never had issues with a small gestational sac but I couldn't not post a reply.
I just wanted to let you know that there is no need to appologise or think you are being greedy or selfish for wanting another beautiful bubba. It is very terrible for people that are unable to fall pregnant at all but it doesn't mean you shouldn't want a baby just as badly.

I found out yesterday that I am pregnant. Yay!! However, my excitement lasted about 4 hours and now I am in a complete nervous state. I thought the 2ww was bad enough but now I have to wait another couple of weeks for the heart beat ultrasound. I'm worried because Im positive I had morning sickness for about 4 days straight a couple of days ago but yesterday and today I have felt nothing at all. I've even been walking around all day touching my bb's (lol) to see if they are getting more sensitive and they dont seem to be. Have any of you had no pregnancy symptoms but are still definitely pregnant?

I was almost bawling before I went for my u/s because for the past few I've had horrible news. I've had some quite strong cramping and my crinone was dark brown (sorry tmi) and barely any symptoms. But complete shock everything was just fine!!!! Baby measure 6 weeks and 5 days even though I was 7 weeks and 1 day it was still pretty close, with a heartbeat of 138 too, I was so relieved I think I cried most of the day! The u/s lady said my cramping was probably from my very large overstimulated left ovary that was only just starting to collapse. She said it was still the size of a large orange! I think I'll still be holding my breath every dr appt from here on but so far everything is hopefully ok.

marie - i hope you're ok i can understand the nerves, my first pregnancy was textbook with morning sickness and sore bb, that got increasingly worse everyday. But with this one my symptoms are really quite mild and subdued even (not that I'm complaining) but I can understand your worrying, hopefully everything will be perfect for you!
