What do you wear on the beach?

I can't believe how many hot mums in bikini's are on the beach this year! Go you if you are one of them :)

If not, what are you wearing on the beach this year? One piece, tankini, short boardies, long boardies, rash vest, nudie (lol, had to include it!)?

I have to admit I find it pretty ironic that we cover our kids from head to toe, but we still expose as much as possible of ourselves!

I wear a bikini, but it turns out they are not so glamourous when you are dashing about playing with kids :lol: So I add shortish boardies and a breezy kaftan sort of top, which is fairly sunsmart I guess, and skims over any chub quite nicely.

i do bikini with kaftan or long sleeved rashy over short boardies..

my kids usually have swimmer undies and long sleeve rashie on

oh and i forgot the obligatory wide brimmed hat lol

we usually wore wetsuits because we were jetskiing. Under my wetsuit I had a bikini top with boyleg shorts. If we weren't jetskiing sometimes i'd wear shortish boardshorts and a tankini.

I am fat so there is no way I would be wearing a bikini. I usually wear a one piece swimsuit with a light tee-shirt over the top. I feel sorry for anyone that catches a glimpse of my shiny white thighs but luckily in NZ if the beach is busy you just drive a couple of hundred metres further down and you have the entire beach to yourself :)

I wear a nice black one piece and some board shorts. There are actually some really lovely fashionable one pieces around at the moment.

Long skirt, long sleeved shirt and fabulous wide brimmed hat. I have a glammo one piece under it all, but even when I swim I keep my shirt on. Me no fry.
