Swimming Lessons booked - but what to wear?!

Okay, so I booked DS into swimming lessons starting next month. He's got a swim-nappy ready to wear.

My only swimsuit that I can get away with wearing is my maternity two-piece which is brown. I'd really like to look (and feel) a bit nicer and would like to buy a new bathing suit, cause the maternity one looks like a maternity one and I don't want to look pregnant.

Can anyone recommend a bathing suit brand that offers something for the post-natal lady? It needs to cover the tummy (one or two piece is fine) and also needs to be generous in the chest - I'm at least a 12F these days.

I'd really like a "swimdress" but I'm having trouble finding one that fits...any suggestions?

Go to an actual swimwear shop and buy a Tankini.
Not as cheap as KMart etc, but you will get better togs, and they will fit your bust ;)

ETA: Not sure where you are, but there is a place on St Kilda Road, a coupe of blocks up from the St Kilda Town Hall, south bound.

Go to Swimwear Galore on Brunswick St - if you go on a Tuesday or Thursday come and have coffee with me :p

There Is a swimwear galore at Sth Land too, they stock heaps of diff brands!

I have found I prefer to wear a nice rash vest with bikini bottoms for swim lessons as I'm not worried about straps falling down or if DD pulls at them the wrong way. I feel much more confident, I did spend the money and buy a nice one from a surf shop and have flogged it.... Just an idea :)

if $$$ are a issue Millers have some beautiful rashie tops plus they have great tankinis all for under $30 thats if you have millers down there...

otherwise I'd go a nice rashie, with bikini bottoms, I tend to wear a bra under my rashie that way the boob's stay in place as well LOL

I brought a Rival brand tanktini last summer and I'm a 14E and it's been great. I feel quite supported because the bust part is fitted so it's tight over my boobs like a crop top and then the tanktini part is A-line so it fits over my curves better ;) I just wear boardies with it instead of just the bikini bottoms as the top rides up in the water and I don't want anyone seeing my jelly belly LOL

i got a couple of pairs from target 2 months ago, that are the shaper ones, so they hold in your belly, but are still really nice looking togs. i think they were about $60 each..
