Just wondering if anyone has got bulk packs of MCN's from China? I'm considering buying a pack of 10 or 20 from Sunbaby and was wondering if anyone has feed back on these both good and bad!

Yep. I had 2 coolababy ones (pretty much the same thing) that I used for about 12 months on DS & I now use them as back up for DD.
I also have 3 of the newer patterned ones that have fleece outters. They aren't too bad. Other than greying on the liner, DS's old ones are in the same cond they came in new. All elastic & stitching is perfect.
I bought some GK bamboo inserts to go inside them.
There will probably be some leg gape on a NB, but they are working really well on DD now.
I use the sunbaby ones when the itti bitti's arent dry. They work well, as long as you change the nappy once it's full as you get compression leaks. In dd its about 2 hours and 3 for ds, I sometimes use the itti boosters in them.
Thanks for your replies. I think I'll buy a bulk pack (I've got a number of others) but thought a pile for at home would be handy.
Forgot to say I always have two liners in.
:bump:
Clover what are the GK inserts? I'm about to bid on some coolababy ones and will get better inserts as the ones in the pictures dont look that absorbent.
Got my eye on a few more also. Has anyone heard that the sunbaby has a low rise? My babies tend to be big and 1 has a long crack so if this is true maybe its best to avoid those ones.
Green kids bamboo inserts, or I'll put 2 of the micro fibre inserts in :)
I really dont know about the rise. 3 of the ones I have I bought second hand & I don't know exactly which brand they are. Seems high in them though :)
I have a few too and they've been great. I'd get some more. Only thing though is the inserts are only a couple of layers of microfibre so they're pretty sucky, but since they're so cheap you can grab yourself some bamboo boosters as well. I made mine, so if you sew that might be an option.
ooh yep Helle, me too.
They are higher than the itti bitti's so not low rise.
I think all those eBay ones are the same "brand", companies just buy them in and then sell them iykwim.
A Friend at MG has some the same as mine, we got them from different stores and they are identical in every way.
We have one, came as a freebie with some others I bought second hand. Great for the nappy bag, fit our newborn from birth, unlike BBH magicalls - although she's a big hoofer.
I wouldn't have an entire stash of them, but they're good for bulking out on a budget.
Thank you again for your responses. I have about 25ish now ranging from itti's, coushies. green kids, sustainable hemp, 1 pea pod (don't like these), cheeky butts, BBH, izzi's but I have very few small and mainly large. As bub will be in cloth mostly I was wanting to add some cheapies in also and I think that will do until I know what suits us and what doesn't. Now just researching before I buy a stash.
Terry flats with a good wool cover is a good way to bulk up a stash too. I swear by my twinkle Lilly cover for flats :)
Mildez - prefolds (sometimes called trifolds) with a cover are a great cheap way to bulk out a stash and are perfect for newborns. My DD lived in these for about the first three months and once you aren't using them so much you can use them as burp cloths and pocket stuffers etc.
prefolds and a cover are also good when the weather is a bit dodgy and its hard to get your MCNs dry.
I didn't think they were too bad actually. Def. considering getting more. Hope you find some that work. xx
