I woke up at 5:30 with shocking hayfever and since being up Izzy has had a drippy nose, watery eyes and keeps crying and saying "I need to go to the Dr mummy" poor darling. I have some kids Claratyne in the house because of J's egg allergy and just wondering if it's ok to give it to her? I never take anything for my hayfever, but today it's just horrible and I did have some and hers seems to be the same. :(
Any advice appreciated.
I would give her a dose. My SIL has to give it to her kids, otherwise some days they would be stuck inside. You may find some work better than others. So if this one doesn't work, take her to the chemist and see what else they reccommend.

Thanks chicks :hug: it has eased a bit since I wrote this so if it flares up again today I will give her the kids dose.
2 of my kids suffer terrible hayfever. DS's is the worst and it seems to get worse as he gets older, he's 13 now and has a Telfast every morning because it's the only one that I've found works on him. I've found Aerius (spelling?) liquid the best for the younger ones. Every morning the 3 of us have our hayfever medication lol.
I hope you're able to get on top of it, Hayfever makes them so cranky when they suffer it for too long. :hug:
That's the one my SIL uses for her girls. She also puts sunglasses on them outside to help.:
Oh wow I've never made that connection with sunglasses - Izzy's eyes often stream and she will complain about it being too bright. Might have to make sure she has them with her all the time.
