So, can you please tell me about reusable/washable breast pads?
Can you buy them in shops?
Where can I get them?
Are they expensive?
How many pairs would I need?
Are they easy to care for?
Anything else I should know about them?

I just bought the Avent ones from the supermarket. They washed and wore well (stayed in place) and are still in fab condition I have kept them incase we have another bub one day. Far less expensive to use cloth than disposable for me but I was super leaky for about the first 4-5 months. I think I had about 6 pairs and would just throw them in the wash in a wash bag every second day or so.
the ones from the nappy buvket dont have pul in them, just so ya know :)
I use the Nature's Child organic cotton breast pads - they are great. I have 6 pairs and I wash them with bub's clothes (in sensitive washing powder) since they are in contact with my boobs!
I bought them online a while ago, they retail for $23 for a pack of 3 pairs but I found them on sale at the time in some random online store! Just google :)
I have some that were freebies with nappy purchase, one pair of MAL's, two sets I made myself, and some nature's child ones. I find that's more than I need. I love them, but I've never used anything else, so can't really compare!
I make and sell my own so I'm biased but they are great. The suedecloth stays dry so isn't sweaty and gross on hot and humid days like the disposable ones get. They also don't bunch up. I do use disposables when out and about for convenience but at home its cloth ones all the way.
I also have some Nature's Child but I ended up adding PUL and suedecloth to them as I was leaking through and didn't like the sodden feel of the bamboo on my skin. And I have Avent ones too but they are nowhere near as absorbent. Fine enough for day use though.
I wash them with the cloth nappies, I just chuck the used ones in the bucket too.
