good sling for reflux please..?!?

I have a bubba moe, but I dont like it as bubs just slumps in it - believe it or not he is more comfortable in the second hand ryco sling I got given - but this is very uncomfortable on my back as it pulls right across the top of my shoulders and the only way Im comfortable wearing it is sitting down in a chair. He can sleep for hours in the ryco. And he doesnt look comfortable as the head support is poor and it looks like the backrest just pushes into his little spine. So I want something similar but more comfortable for him and more comfortable for me - so a sling where I can wear him upright for the moment. But in the future, has adjustability so I can wear it different ways - e.g so he can face out to the world or be backpacked, or cradled etc. Also ideally - easy to get on and off by myself, no velcros to secure coz they make such a noise to undo, no ties or difficult to do up parts, something that is good for mine and bubs postures, and ideally something that I can easily breastfeed in when out in public to give a bit of privacy too..
And something that is cool for summer as my bubba mo and ryco slings are both such thick horrible materials..
Is there any such sling?

I'd suggest a Close carrier, even though it has ties, because they are already tied for you basically, you just put it over your shoulders and adjust it to your size. Easy as!! I've found it was only good up to about 10kg though because they started to pull too much on the material because its not a real firm type of material - ITMS? Oh, and I think you can wear bubs facing outwards, but its not recommended to have bubs in that position anyway. So thats about the only suggestion I have for an easy to get on and off sling.

Or a mei tai, either something with an adjustable base (if bubs prefers legs out, eg: catbird baby, or the pikkolo which is a buckle version if you are really adverse to straps), or babyhawk, or the Storchenwiege half buckle carrier is excellent for newbies. Actually, that would tick all of your boxes, it is adjustable for newborn up to toddler, it is made of wrap quality cotton so is supportive yet very cool, it has a good headrest for newborns. Personally I'd recommend something with good adjustability because you want to keep a reflux baby properly upright, so a half buckle would be able to be adjusted better. For the same reason I'd suggest trying a close carrier before committing to one, as it is stretch fabric you may find that bubs slumps without frequent adjustment.

I loved the Close Carrier when my bub was little. I have just bought an Ergo now (she has just gone 9 months) cos she was getting a bit heavy for the Close Carrier.

I'd suggest the close carrier too, DD2 has pretty severe reflux and it was our saving grave until the meds started working. but it is so comfy and she loves it and snuggles in for a sleep, but does spit it when putting her in and out...

Another one who can recommend the close carrier, it saved my sanity when ds was at his worst with the reflux.

I love my Close. Don't have a refluxy baby, but it would be great for one.

Slumping is an issue for us with the Close Carrier - DS has mild reflux and needs to be straight through the spine after a feed. However, its possible I've not got the carrier tight enough.. he's also a large baby. Good luck!
