3rd c section???
hi :)
im 25 and i have 2 bubbas, my son is 5 and was a c section due to him being breech ( lazy little bugga) and i have a beautiful little girl who is 19 mnths, she was also a c section due to her being very small and they wanted her out.
WELL! i would love 1 more, and im a little concerned about having a 3rd c section
i have heard all these horror stories but never anything positve.
i did find my second c section was a lot easier and i recovered a lot quicker
please if any one has been through this or has any advice PLEASE HELP :)
Blayne:lol::D

My sister has had 4 c-sections without complications if that helps :)
-
My stepmother had three without any issues.

i have just had my 3rd and have had no issues!!
-
Many women have multiple c/s without complications or if so only very minor. Also perhaps a VBA2C is an option.

I'll be having my 3rd in April and im not anticipating any complications. A friend of mine had 3 without any issues. I wouldnt worry, if you dont have any underlying heath issues then i dont see why you'd have any probs. Good luck!

i've had 3 no complications :) hoping to have a VBA3C next time round :)

Hi,
I will be having my 4th c/section in a months time.and i havnt had any issues
If you dont have any health problems it should be just fine.
You could also talk to your dr about it and they will tell you about the risks etc..
Good luck : )

Hi I had my 4th CS 9 months ago..my doc recommended that I have no more babies....placenta had attatched itself to the scar tissue and I had a lot of bleeding.
In saying that I am a lot older than you and also I had no problems with number 3 CS. I reckon you would have no problems, you have had good gaps between CS so will have healed well. What about thinking about a VBAC trial, it is lots more common now and you can always go the CS if required.
Goodluck with your decision.

I also have had 3 cs with no problem and will be going for my 4th in july. If anything, the last c-section was the best. I feel each one has got better each time. hope this helps.

I've had 3 with no worries at all. As some of the others have said, so far it has gotten better each time! We're considering number 4 in a couple of years, but still undecided and a little nervous about it...

I have just had my 4th c/s 4weeks ago tomorrow. I too was told not to have anymore bub's, as to what the surgeon said, things were stuck. He also came around and told me whilst in the ward, he hopes I dont have anymore children as he will not be doing the operation if I do. (WTF, that was nice to hear) Yet as for the operation itself I have recovered well, needed a drain bag for excess blood as well as the cathetar, yet I had to have that with my third too. The only porblem I have had is from the spinal, and them going to far in with the needdle causing a spinal fluid leak, in turn causing terrible spinal headaches, in which I needed to have a blood patch done to correct it. I am still recovering from the spinal.
Upon saying that though, I am also an oldie.

My third csect I had no real problems, they thought I did but checked things out and everything was okay. I have since had a 4th with complications however will be having a 5th still later in the year.

I will be having my 3rd in April and I'm expecting to be told no more but won't know until the operate as to what the scar tissue is like.
