I just cant justify it!!
Ive been looking for bedding for the cots to suit our jungle themed nursery and everywhere i have looked wants nearly $300 per set plus theres the extras!! So just for one lot of bedding for the boys it would be $600 :o
So i am on a mission to improve my lack of sewing skills and am planning on making my own cot sets (quilt, valance, hamper etc) maybe not the valance maybe just quilt and laundry hamper because the sheets don't matter i can just buy a plain colour to go with the material i chose for the quilt sssooo does anyone know how hard it would be and where i can get some patterns from - free or paid for i dont mind as long as i dont have to spend $600 on bedding that would have to be washed everyday unless i shell out another $600+

Check out the pattern books at Spotlight if there is one nearby. I saw some patterns recently for decorating babies rooms in both Burda and Macally's (sp) books and they were around $18.95 i think. Maybe worth while also checking out Craftumi website which is the sister site for Madeit as they have heaps of patterns and fabric.
Actually Madeit might have jungle themed cot sheets/room decor already made for a reasonable price or check out the custom made section if you end up wanting to buy them.
