Must stay off Dr. Google - But can anyone else here help?

Last month, DH and I decided to start TTC #2, but that was in the middle of the cycle.

I then had 10 days of spotting, followed by 14 days of AF and another 2 days of spotting (it's pretty much gone now :crossfingers:)
Now, I've never had AF for more than 8 days at most (and that was after a chem pgncy) but I did a test at the beginning and in the middle of the AF and both came out as a :bfn:
What in the world could it have been? I've not been on the pill, so I don't know what it could have been?!

Post-preggy-weird-cycles :) Did you find that on Dr Google? :lol:

My last couple of cycles have been super weird! Im not on the pill either, only took the mini pill for a month when DD was about 8 weeks old! I think our cycles after a baby are just plain weird and a bit inconsistent. I hope this is your month hon :crossfingers:

Thanks hun :) I might just go to the dr - I had an almost positive OPK last night and even though I had DTD while spotting, I'm hoping that we can DTD tonight so we can see if we can catch the egg.

My questions always seem to get ignored - I dunno why I bother tbh.

I have to agree with Taurean about cycles being weird post bubba!!! I think the body just tries to sort itself out or at the very least just annoy you :lol: but a trip to your GP isnt gonna hurt just to ask what they think.

I am not sure why you would have such AF but it would be best to go and see a doctor cause your hormones might be a little out of whack? Hope you get some answers!

Ngala, I asked a question bout something to do with DS, and it got one response. I've asked numerous question before with only 1 answer (and a few with no answers) and I'm just getting annoyed. And it's only when I say things like 'I don't know why I bother' is when I start getting the responses.

Which OPKs are you using? If you can afford digital then I'd highly recommend getting some. I bought mine through eBay (from the UK) and the were SO much cheaper. They are great as there is no guess work, the digital screen gives you a smiley face when it's time to BD :)

One of the girls at my MG was telling us about a friend of hers who was struggling to fall PG. She had some tests done and it turns out she was ovulating during her period :o so they DTD during her next period and BAM! UTD :D

My cycles are STILL stuffed, 2.5 years later! You have PCOS don't you? I would have put it down to that, I have PCOS as well and I'd have just chalked it up to a crazy cycle. You might find your period od late this cycle, that's what usually happens to me. If it happens again (bleeding for 14 days etc) I'd go to the doctor.

Hey dd. I have pcos and my cycles were non existent after ds until the dr put me on diabex, they then came back , got regular and we conceived cupcake 5 months after starting the diabex. See your gp and see what they can suggest. I had to get reffered to an endocrinologist first

Sorry to hijack but how long were you on Diabex for? I have pcos and was prescribed diabex also, (Diabex XR) but it doesnt say how long i was suppose to take it for and is it safe while we are actively ttc or suppose to take it first then ttc again?

Hey Mum to one.

I was on diabex for 5 months and then stayed on it till I was 16 wks pregnant. There is evidence that it can reduce the risk of miscarriage. It only took about 2 weeks before I got my period back and then after about 2 months I was having a regular 33 day cycle. I was on 3 tablets a day by the 3rd month and when I fell pregnant dropped down to 1 a day. So you would take it while ttc and possible once you fall pregnant.
