How big did you get with your twins???
Hi
I'm hoping to get some idea of how big I will potentially get with my twins.
I know it is not standard practice for fundal height to be measured with multiples but it really helps to give me an idea of what my body is doing in relation to how the twins are growing.
I am just over 23 weeks pregnant with my twin boys (we are unsure if they are identical or not as they have 2 sac's and placenta's) and my fundal height is currently measuring at 36 weeks for a singleton.
I have read some stuff that says you should be about 6 weeks bigger than with a singleton but 13 weeks is a big difference.
I'm a bit concerned that as they are so big already will they be born early as they will run out of room, I'm only 5' 4 and don't have a very long torso so I'm already struggling with being short of breath and also the discomfort of having the babies wedged in my pelvis and under my ribs. I don't think is helps that both babies are head down already so they are laying side by side (with a head each pressing against a hip) and legs under my rib cage, so really the only option for them to make room is to push outwards.
I would love to hear how big everyone else got and also if having bigger babies meant them being delivered early.
