Hey, here's some general information - let me know if you have specific questions about it.
Centrelink has a receipt confirmation system, where a unique receipt number is automatically generated when your record is accessed by a Centrelink staff member or when a customer uses online services.
It's designed to give customers evidence and confirmation of their contact with us including when an update or enquiry is made via online services. It provides a reference in case someone needs to follow up about the contact.
