Id like to know what each of you have experienced in your pregnancy's with boys and girls. Im interested to know the different symptoms for different sex's.
With my girls i had morning sickness for first 3 months and headaches then in the 3rd trimester bad.
I was THIRSTY THIRSTY THIRSTY!!!! Juice, water, cordial, the colder the better- craved enough apples to go through 2kgs a week, stewed, whole or pieces, didn't matter to me! Also craved meat, and what's worse processed meat! Which was a hard hit to my back-to-oldschool veggo ways!!!
NO inclination to DTD at any stage during the pregnancy- much to DH's disappointment (and mine!)
I can't say I had any morning sickness, other than a couple of random times, and no headaches that weren't caused by dehydration or lack of sleep (because of the fact that I put on 30kgs and couldn't move in bed!)
All of this gave me a beautiful, darling BOY!
Agree with alot of Kryatals actually.....sooooo thirsty and I wanted fresh fruit non stop, but it had to be out of the fridge ice cold fruit only!! Definately no desire to DTD. Only evening sickness which lasted first trimester and some of second. And I carried up high and into my backbone so I barely showed a preg belly til the last few weeks.......
And the end result a happy healthy BOY!!
A few ppl i know have told me they had nausea with there boys but no morning sickness. Im always thirsty but i was before pg too.
My symptons/cravings were so similar both times, that 2nd time around DH was convinced I was having another girl, but I had a boy!
Both times I had nausea but no actual throwing up, couldn't stand brocoli, craved carbs for the first 12weeks and loved ice crea,
in my girl pregnancy:
had nausea no vomitting
couldnt drink milk
craved potatoes, vanilla slice and mc chickens
with my boy pregnancy:
vomitted every day till 18weeks
lived on milk
craved salt and vinegar potato chips
craved cheeseburgers
I was convinced this one was going to be a boy (I suppose it still could be, but she looked very girly in the u/sound!). I've had nausea with all three - with T(girl) I vomited a couple of times, whereas with S and this one I don't think I did at all. With both S (boy) and this one, I've craved fresh fruit, but on the other hand, there is so much more yummy fruit around than when I was pregnant with T :) (I'm a bit of a stone-fruit addict!)
Also with both S and this one, I've got quite a bit of facial hair - very fine, downey white hair as if I were growing a beard :/ I'm carrying quite low, like I was with T, and this baby is also very active, like T was. So that's 3 'boy' symptoms and 2 'girl' symptoms that this baby has in common with other pregnancies... who knows?!!
With both my girls
- no morning sickness
- couldn't drink plain water (needed to be flavoured)
- craved chocolate and sweet foods
- only wanted "white" foods eg pasta, rice, potatoes, bread, cheese etc
- metallic taste in mouth
- hair growth on legs and armpits reduced
Boy pregnancy
-bad all day nausea from 8-17 weeks, vomiting every couple of days
-very tired first tri
-hungry/starving in first tri
Girl pregnancy
-a couple of days of nausea early on
-hungry but don't feel like eating anything in first tri
As yet unknown pregnancy
-soooo tired
-hungry but don't feel like eating anything
-mild nausea 5-6 weeks
-mild nausea at night
with my SON
craved sausage rolls and Devon all the time , and noodles :)
Couldn't drink anything too sweet but couldn't drink water either
Only put on 7kg all up and carried at the front not on the hips
had severe MS and thru up , from 4 weeks until 5 months pregnant
If I flew in a plane ( which I did several times) I threw up from the moment we took off until landing......
I also had more hair, had to shave more often, all the testosterone.... Also had lots of pimples
This pregnancy.....Don't know what we have yet... No pimples though, less hair growth :)
but my symptoms are m/s from 7 weeks until now.. Though it's getting better I must say not as severe as last time
craving asparagus, fruit, chocolate milkshakes, thick shakes, bacon hmmmmm bacon...... Fruit toast, seafood ( I know I know ;) ) and can't drink much water or anything sweet.
ive put on no weight so far
But have a bump already lol
and was so much more tired this time round, but could be age lol
DS - nausea
DD - nausea, vomiting (even water), very bad head aches, extreme fatigue, HUGE boobies
I've just had a little girl but TBH I didn't have many 'symptoms'
I had:
Sore BB's in first tri
No morning sickness
Extremely tired in first tri
Reflux in last couple of months of pregnancy

This pregnancy is differrent to the twins for me so im being nosey and wanting to see what everyone else experienced. This tieme around ive had nausea on and off mainly on since 5 weeks constantly hungry to a point i can even keep up anymore. Boobs are huge and sore since 5 weeks no cravings as yet but i just about eat everything.
I Like this thread! Im only 9 weeks but so excited to know what it is! Its my first pregnancy... I feel like i could bet my life on it being a girl..i feel so strongly in my heart that it is ?! Dont ask me why though??...it will be a huge surprise if it isnt... but i will be happy all the same...
Im extremely tired.. i wish i didnt love Mc donalds sausage mcmuffins so much but i do!... I use to love brown and multgrain bread now i can only eat white... all i drink is water and lemonade - im immensely thirsty 24/7 (but this could be due to my higher than usual salt intake) oh and caramel paddlepops are amazing... With all these naughty cravings i have only put on 3kgs and maintained my weight the past few weeks :D

This is my 1st pregnancy and we know its a boy, the symptoms have been many, such as:
Nausea but no vomitting from 7 weeks to 13 weeks and very tired throughout
Awful taste in my mouth, especially after sweet foods or drinks
Fruit cravings from strawberries, mangoes, pineapple to grapes and nectrines in last trimester - all cold
Carrying high, under my ribs now (at 32 weeks) I think he is oblique or breech at this stage :(
I've had 2 girls. With the first I threw up everything I ate, (apart from lunch for some reason!) every single day for 18 weeks. 2nd time around I only threw up every second day for 18 weeks. With both I had SUPER sore boobs early on and late in the pregnancies I had terrible heart burn and thats about it really! :)
mith DD i had nothing no morning sickness not tiredness nothing even heartburn i think i had like once!With this baby im only 13 weeks and yet ive been sick as a dog heartburn already so exhausted and no ineterest in sex where as with DD i did have alot of interest!:P
