I was wondering if anyone can shed any light for me...
DH suffered a moderate concussion, he blacked out, suspected cerbral fluid loss, the report from the hospital states a suspected fracture at the base of the skull, and that they would follow up, we haven't heard anything we have contacted them and they said they would get in contact iwth us :wall:
We have kept in contact with our GP regularly and DH had another appointment today, he is still suffering nausea when driving, headaches and is taking Voltaren and Pain Relief when required.
The Dr said today that he recommened but didn't say he couldn't that DH doesn't fly on the 25th of February, which is a month after the concussion, but he didn't give a reason why, and the only things I have seen online is that it can increase the syptoms but nothing else.
We have tickets to an event, bought flights and accomodation, the accom can be cancelled right up to 6pm on the day so not concerned about that, the flights can be delayed for a later date at a fee, tickets we'll we could hope to sell them on EBAY if we had to but it would be cutting it fine doing it any later than now... DH would be shattered if we have to cancel, because it is only here one day one event only.....
But anyway I digress... does anyone have any experience with concussions/flying etc.. if so it would be HUGELY appreciated, he has another appointment on the 21st, by then it would be pretty much too late to sell tickets etc...
