Eenee snibbs

OMG How tiny are the snibbs? I just got some from eBay (at a bargain if the price on websites is per snibb)!

At the moment, Dolly Baby (DS' Cabbage Patch doll) has one on, with a Happy Babes prefold in it... How on earth doest that fit a newborn? It doesn't even cover the dolls side butt.

What do I put in them? Is a prefold enough? Truth be told, I got these prefolds cheap (6 for $5) and they don't look like much. I couldn't work out how to use them as a prefold, even on Dolly Baby coz they're so small - so I'm using them as a booster/ liner of sorts.

Is that going to be enough in a snibb? What else can I use in one? Are you sure they fit a newborn!?

It's really thrown me how small they are.:o

Please, someone, tell me they're great, how they work etc! Please! Tell me what to do!! (with regards to the prefold, but more so the snibb) I'm such a newbie!

I have both of these and sorry but they are both crap :( The prefolds are sooo small and just not the right size and the snib will fit a newborn but not securely IMO so I didn't even bother plus they look and feel so uncomfortable. Basically you put something absorbent into the snib and pop it on... Yeah that sounds very intelligent doesn't it :lol: On the Eenie website they say you can put their fold up nappies in them but heck that would be way too big and even a few of the happy babes ones would not be absorbent enough if you got hte newborn size. I have both newborn and infant and I didn't use either as nappies but they get LOADS of use as spew and feeding cloths. I think the snibbs would work best with a bamboo prefold in them.

Gotta go bath DS he's getting really tired. Ask more questions if need be :)
