polyhydraminios can anyone tell me more and details of my results and other questions
i was told tonight i have polyhydraminios from my scan monday which i was 38 weeks.
the results were 28 cm! and on wednesday the surgeon measured fluid and it was 29cm (hopefully their is not actually more!)
bub has the all clear he's in the 51st centile, measuring about 3241g, and umbilical cord flow was within normal limits (SD ratio 2.7) (also has all clear with tummy and etc everything working fine)
what does it all mean though i am still kept in the dark about all of this? i dont like using DR google it can be bad.
i am booked in on monday for a scheduled c section but i've never been at 39 weeks without being in labour and DS2 was bought on early but they decided against it this time!
my ob wants a trace done tomorrow as bub has been less active and i may not be feeling all movements as how much fluid is around. and to make sure his heart rate is going well and he's coping.
he also asked if i have been leaking fluids, well i never felt my waters break or trickle so dont know what i am exactly looking for.(i was told by all surgeons the previous c sections a carried extra fluid but no one knew until they opened me up!)
as i do loose fluids and seems to be very watery, i only have these trickles when i do something certain, and sometimes its mucus but other times clear watery subtance (but isnt pee) and it wipes away like water IYKWIM. i am totally confused on what is going on they are not too concerned of fluids cause if their is a leak its not big and has affected how much fluid (theirs alot more where that came from lol).
can things change quickly from now until c section monday.
i know he's head first and engaged too (oh the pressure lately has been bad) and bh come and go and can be quite painful, but then just a very tight belly with no pain. but also at night i hardly sleep as i get pain in lower half near cervix and lower belly just from lying on my side! but cervix on scan seemed good and taking all the weight well. (im only 5'2 and 53kg's!) so i have such a huge tummy!
sorry to ramble but lots of questions and had 2 appts this week with no answers :(
