Early pregnancy symptom question

Hi everyone,

Im currently trying to concieve and am in the dreaded two week wait at the moment. I have a question concerning an early pregnancy symptom - did anyone find that before their BFP they had uncharacteristically low tolerance to alcohol?

I am just wondering because I had a small glass of wine with lunch at a BBQ today and started feeling really tipsy after only a couple of sips when I can normally polish off a whole bottle before I start to feel that way (not that I do that regularly, lol).

What do people think? I know its gripping at straws, but im about to go into my 27th month TTC!!

With dd1 I had a bourbon and coke and threw up like I had just had a six pack. I had no idea I was pg at the time, but have never experienced anything like that since.

I was the same- not that I felt sick, but I just didn't feel like drinking one night- was my first indication something was up- me not wanting a glass of wine????!!!! I took a couple of sips and tried to 'drink through it' (OMG how desperate!) but couldn't stand it.

I've not had this experience - but just wanted to say that I HOPE like anything that it is a pregnancy symptom and that this is your month. Hope the rest of your TWW flies by. When are you testing?

Krystals: That was how I felt! I can normally drink wine like water and really enjoy it, but today I had to put my mind to it and almost immediately I felt whoozy and got a headache. I finished the glass (another 4 or 5 small sips) and could have gone straight to bed I felt so tired and not nauseous but 'off' if that makes sense.

Santosha: Thanks :) I'm testing on Friday or Saturday. Im only 4dpo at the moment. Sigh.

i get like that after one sip of wine even when im not pg :rofl:

I was the same as Krystals, I poured a glass of wine, took one sip and tipped the rest down the sink!! I just couldn't drink it. The next day I found out I was pregnant :) Hope this is the lucky month for you!
