Gift ideas for baby shower organisers?

I'm realising today that I have some seriously fantastic friends :) A while ago the four of them mentioned that they'd like to help with my baby shower, but I kinda thought "They're at a completely different life stage to me (all single, going out lots, living in the city, very rarely around children or babies) they'll wanna help a bit but it's mostly the sentiment that counts". They didn't mention any more about it, so I started a little organising and asked their thoughts.

We've chatted heaps about it, getting loads of ideas, but all I've really got is invitations to send out tomorrow, and an awesome recipe for cupcakes that I wanna make. Then today, I get a group facebook message from them saying they want to do the whole thing! They have games planned, food that each of them will bring, decorations in a pink & blue theme (no one knows we're having a girl) prizes for the games, everything. All I need to do is the cupcakes (I wouldn't give up that job lol) and make sure the house is tidy for guests. I'm stoked, it's going to be a fantastic day!

So I'm thinking I really should get them all something to say thankyou - they're putting a lot into this. But I haven't got a clue what to get them! My brain is literally empty of ideas, I haven't come up with a single idea. Should it be kind of baby-related, considering that's what the thanks is for, or not? I'm so stuck. Thankfully I still have over a month to come up with something!

I would get them all a photo frame with a note that it will be updated with a photo once baby is here.. Maybe if they visit you, get one of them and baby together, then arrange for it to be printed for them..

Thanks :) I had kind of thought of a picture type thing, but another friend has already offered to do up really thankyou/announcement cards with a pic of the baby once she's born, and they'll all get one of these so I dunno if maybe it's doubling up a bit. But yeah, I can't really think of anything else that's kind of baby-related. I've had a look for frames but can't find anything I like :( Maybe I'm too picky :lol:

I thought of the pic idea too but one of all of you on the day showing off your big beautiful bump! That way it's more of a memory of the day and how much it meant to you that they went to so much effort!

Thanks for the ideas guys :) I really wanted something I could give them on the day, and it turns out DH has come up with a good idea (who knew he'd come in so handy? :rofl:) Because where we live has a lot of local produce that they love, he suggested a gift bag with wine from their fave winery, a bag of local boiled lollies & some of their fave preserves from Maggie Beer. Then I'll put in a frame that can have a pic of all us or something put in after.
