DF thought it would be fun to get a gender prediction test. I read very mixed reviews about it.
Has anyone used this and has your result been right?

i did it exactly as they said to and it told me i was having a girl, we had a boy ;) it is a bit of fun though
I was going to get one but decided not to waste our money as I'd much prefer a 3D scan to confirm whatever the 20 week scan showed... unfortunately we still aren't in the position to get a 3D scan... but we had it confirmed in sizing scan a few week back that we are indeed having another boy :-)
How much are they? I'd like try it if it's not that expensive....i don't want to waste alot of money on something that may not tell me the truth! lol.
Danielle, don't they include the 3D with the 20 week scan??? I had 3D done at my dating scan (last time) and 3D/4D is included in the 12 week and 20 week scans that i'm getting done. YAY for another Boy!
They are about $70 if you buy online I think. No I had to go via the hospital and didn't even get a picture to take away. Asked the first time and got ONE printed out but nothing the second and third time.
They are anywhere between $70 and $100. You wee in a jar and the wee turns a certain colour for boy or girl. My friend did it and was some sort of colour in between the two, LOL. Leaned more towards the boy colour. She ended up having a girl. I was going to do it, but after her results there was no way I was going to waste the money.
Apparently if the test gets its wrong you can send in the receipt and a copy of baby's birth certificate and they will refund your money...but that is a LOT of hassle and they know most people won't bother.
u can get it for about $75 on ebay, i think its about $100 in chemists
I also remember reading something about adding something to your morning wee (like drano) and the colour would change one way or another but I can't remember details with this pregnancy brain
Was right for me :)
Well, you actually have to register with them first and provide images of the test, you have to provide all your contact details and medicare number. They email you a confirmation receipt and at the bottom of the letter, you have to get the sonographer to sign and date and fill out the details of the clinic to claim on top of providing a copy of your medicare card, baby's birth certificate and receipts! your money back if it is indeed wrong! Like you said Marlene - alot of hassle but honestly I would be too embarrassed to ask a sonographer to fill the form out. I personally wouldnt like to give out my personal info - you dont know what your details are being used for (ya know)
Well, we will know if it was right or not in around 3 weeks. But our result was a boy.
I personally wouldnt waste money on it again. Not with all the hassle you have to go through to be able to claim the money back! Rude!!
