My brother and his friends got into trouble..[RANT]

They thought it was great idea to take a wander down to the college half way down my mums street and break into a shed and take items out. Unfortunate for them they all got caught and because of my brothers prior charges from about 5 years ago means he has to go to caught and may end up in juvi.. :wall:

Just when i thought he was doing so well, getting his life back on track and had a good head on his shoulders. He claims that he didnt know what they were down at the school to do, and it was all a friend of his' idea.. yadda yadda yadda.

To make matters worse his bestfriend who lives next door was also involved and his mother has kicked him out and has disowned him.

I also found out that only months ago the boy whose idea it was had come into my mothers home and bashed my brother all because he didn't want to go to some party. How can my brother still talk to somebody who assaulted him and has on numerous occasions been the one responsible for him getting arrested??

My mother claims that my brother has no friends and so clings onto anyone who will hang out with him no matter what they are like. He is depressed but how can this one boy be worth ruining his whole life. My brother wants to be an IT engineer but i am sure nobody will look at him if he has a criminal record.

I can just see the day where he is locked up for grand theft auto or something just as bad.

Gahh i could smack his head on a wall and scream "what is wrong with you!!" at him but i know it wouldnt matter.

I love my brother i always will but i dont love what he does.

:hug: I understand your frustrations babe :( My brother broke into an empty apartment with a bunch of boys when he was younger, he said they influenced him. Unfortunately that sort of behaviour does escalate, and he now has a court date for next month for armed robbery :cry: Is your brother underage? Hopefully they will be lenient on him, and maybe even set him up in a youth program to help him, or at least point him in the right direction. Xx

Tell him lovingly to his face that you love him but not his behaviour. Does he want to have his neice not know him because of his behaviour as I'm sure this will happen if he goes to jail.

He really needs to make a break from this so called friend. Ask him if he would get a friend arrested for doing things that he knew could get them into trouble with the police. If he says no as why and then point out that is exactly what his so called friend is doing to him. Then leave him to think about his choices.

My brother is almost 17.

hes not a bad kid, despite what his record may say he really isnt. Hes just easily influenced, he doesnt know how to stand up to this so called friend of his and so just goes along with him. The police have warned him to stay away from his friend as even they say hes bad news.

All im going to say is my brother is lucky my mum is understanding and believes him, his best mates mum doesnt believe them at all and calls her son a thug and doesnt want to know him. Its really sad :(

PZ - he was in a youth program when he was younger which is why we are all so suprised he's gotten himself in trouble. Recently he said he regretted everything he did and wished he could fix his past so it just breaks my heart that another bad choice may end it all.
