Rash? No clue what it could be!
DS has a rash at the moment. He woke up with it yesterday, and it's still here today. He has a few red dots on his cheeks, and then lots of smaller dots all over his chest and back. It sometimes look worse, sometimes look better - but so far doesn't seem to be disappearing. I have noticed that it is on his bottom and top of his legs - but doesn't seem to be on his lower arms or legs, or hands or feet.
DS isn't unwell at all, apart from a slight runny nose that he's had for a week or so anyway. No fever, doesn't seem tired or out of sorts apart from usual toddler dramas. The rash isn't bothering him, so it mustn't be hot or itchy. To touch the rash feels very slightly raised.
When DH and I first saw it we thought it may have just been a heat rash, but we're in Tassie, it's not that hot, and DS doesn't feel hot.
I can't think of anything new he's eaten or come into contact with either.
The only other thing I can think to add is that he does seem to be teething at the moment with his 2 yo molars - he has a hand shoved in his gob a fair bit with dribble running down his chin and arm (ew!). Can a rash like this be caused by teething?
We've taken some photos, but of course they don't show the rash very well.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it, as DH and I just can't work it out.
