Hi!!!!!
What do Braxton Hicks feel like, how do i know if i am getting them, I can't remember in my last pregnancy having them - or maybe I did and didn't know it!!!!
mine with missy felt like cramps quite painful but eased when i walked around
all obs will insist you had them with your 1st pregnancy but i must have slept through mine
mine started off feeling similar to the feeling of a closed fist but in my lower stomach and they grew from that.
I didn't feel them at all early on and midway through in my first pregnancy. It was actually only towards the end when my OB was feeling my tummy during an examination that he told me I was experiencing a BH and we had to wait until it was over before he could continue. That is how I know what they feel like. Your tummy just gets really hard and if you try and feel your baby inside (usually I can make out where her back is etc. if I feel my belly), you can't really because your uterine muscles are so taut. This pregnancy, however, I can feel the tightening and I believe I am experiencing far more BH's that in the first. Apparently they can be painful, but mine have never been.
Mine take my breath away. Not in a painful way at all, its sort of weired. Sorry not much help lol
Sometimes I dont feel them at all, but if I press on my bump it is rock hard, and sometimes buldging out. When I do feel them, its like a leg cramp, but in my stomach. Not painful yet, just an obvious tightening across the front of my bump.
The weirdest thing for me is that its often only one part of my uterus, usually the right side, or sometimes just the top or just the bottom. So weird!
I get them ALL the time, more when I havent drank enough water
