yep our kids have drawn with pen on our expensive couch set too! grrrrr. i can't remember if we managed to get it off, or if it's just faded over time? and with bums sitting on it Lol. hopefully someone else will tell you a trick that might help me in the future too
Just subbing, we have this problem here too - would jif/ajax or some kind of cream cleanser work???? Need to try this myself.....
Boo Boo (luv your name by the way lol) I've tried that, it doesn't work.
I've also tried vodka (someone suggested it to me), eucalyptus oil, leather cleaner, spray & wipe and some other stuff I paid an arm and a leg for at the supermarket that said it cleans 1001 stains off ANY surface - all failed!!
How about hairspray - spray the area and wipe off, I know it sounds bizarre but my Mum told me once! Might try it too.
Ring the people at King Furniture and ask them to send you a stick of ink away. They'll take your CC details over the phone and mail it out. When my DS drew on my lounge when it was brand new and I rang them in tears they couriered it there within 2 hours lol. It's like a lipstick and you rub it on and then off again. I've had to use it a couple of times now and with that and a bit of time you can only see the marks if you know exactly where to look.
ETA - I assume we're talking ball point. For the markers metho does the trick but it will also lift the colour from your lounge so you need to shampoo and condition straight afterwards.
Have the same problem here! Gel and ballpoint marks! :(
My mum got biro and texta off white leather bar stool with nail polish remover she wasn't very in love with DD1 that day
Try a baby wipe! My kids got paint on our leather couch, I tried everything it didn't work, then I tried a Huggies baby wipe and it came right off!
Thanks for all the suggestions girls - I'll give them a go tomorrow - Hubby is away and thanks to DS2 I only got 3 hours sleep last night so I'm way past tired!! Onyx - can I ask which state King Furniture is in??
They're in Sydney and Canberra. Not sure where else but they will post if you ring them up.
