I know I should go get my eyes checked but just curious on thoughts..

for about 12 months nwo I have been "seeing" a black thing floating around in front of me. When I first noticed it, it was while at the computer screen & thought I had a bit of fluff or something caught on a strand of hair. It moved when I moved but I couldn't grab it. Anyway I have figured out its in my right eye. Its just a little squiggle, almost a like a little strand of thread or something. Generally I don't actually see it unless I look for it. It moves when I move my eye, kinda sits to the top of vision to the left a bit.

What is it? I was actually at the optometrist the other day with one of the boys but they didn't have time to see me also. So of course it will be one of those things I get around to at some point or another.

You should go get it checked out, sooner rather than later, before baby if possible. It's most probably a floater, and could cause retinal damage, especially if aggravated by pushing out a baby.

I have a floater, I only see it occasionally tho. My optometrist said they're fairly harmless?

yeah did some Googling & came to that conclusion also. Baby is due today (LOL) so not much hope in getting seen before baby & if I could, not much is going to be done about it right now LOL.

Im not sure if its always there or not. I think it is but I can ignore it. But its more noticeable lately I think.
