Lol i just have to share this... I was just washing up and i heared a huge comotion (sp?) outside and i look up and see one of my hens running flat out with my cat chasing her i was just about to go out and tell him off when the rooster attacked the cat! I can't stop laughing it looked so funny!
anyway back to washing up! :)

We have two chooks, they're actually quite nasty! They're just as good as our dog at keeping the neighbours cat away, the poor bugger won't think of going near them after a few well aimed attacks :lol:

Would you consider renting out your Rooster. My neighbours cats could do with a good scare to keep them out of my garden and off my car.
lol Kazzo, you can have him if you like but you might want to turn him into chicken soup! We have 8 hens and him. I have to carry a piece of poly pipe around with me if i go outside because if we go near his hens he attacks us, he has been on the recieving end of DH size 13 boot a number of times!
wow. Our cats are scared of our chickens, but how funny is the rooster!
